This is the card I entered for the Spring into Summer card competition at The Papeterie in Stoneywood, it’s the first time I have done a competition entry, the other cards were fabulous, Debbie from Wiccababe got a place as did another lili of the valley card and a distressed style card won it, these can all be seen on the Papeteries blog

more mixed media

i had been wanting to try stencilling on a canvas to add texture but not sure i got the right method yet lol x

its all about foamirian a soft silk foam you can either cut out to form petals or use dies to cut  them all the model into the shape  you want to make beautiful flowers theres a better description on her page link follows theres a shop full of foamirian and stamens beads etc., theres a Stop correcting “competition”  on their blog here

I have always dabbled in mixed media since college but when i found a site called

craft boxes owned by Anna Hersom  I fell in love with it theres so much scope for creativity  you can do anything you want express your feelings on canvases boxes and more i have also introduced  some of my normal card class to it they are loving it too i will show a few canvases ive done ans class boxes when they finish xx

New Cards

This cars is an 8x8 and made with die cuts and backing paper see the rocking horses on papers
  This new home card was easily made using dies and punches looks complicated but very easy
             Again a lovely baby card for boy or girl used spellbinders dies and graphic 45 papers
 New die from tattered lace and card cut and a border punch along edge 
                                                then attached again to cut off card x
                  My favourite card rocking horse die and corners and oval layers so simple x

lace card

This card is a version of bekka feekens www.amazingpapergrace.com card in 30 minutes
It  took me at least 2  hours lol and a lot of glue dots my one varies from bekkas as i covered card in lace first, but it sparked of a load of ideas and inspiration and I now have a pile of lace cards with bows lol xx jen

First Post

Well eventually, it’s only taken me three months to sort out my layout and take photos and I still don’t know what Iam doing… it’s more complicated than I thought, this making a blog lol.... everything seems to be gathering at bottom of page? Iam sure I will work it out
